## **GCP Sydney Region is now live on Elasticsearch Service**

We're excited to bring the official Elasticsearch Service to the Sydney region on GCP.

This will provide our growing set of customers in Australia with the immediate ability to [start a free trial](https://www.elastic.co/cloud/elasticsearch-service/signup?elektra=gcp-sydney-launch-blog) and deploy our Elasticsearch Service on GCP in Sydney with a few clicks, with features you can’t find anywhere else.

> The new Asia Pacific (Sydney) region is our second GCP region in Asia Pacific, complementing the five other GCP regions that Elastic offers globally.
