# GEO data still needs to use default template?

When I tried to convert IP to geo info, still have error on geo\_point. Then I found this:

I want to ask if this will be fixed or keep it like old way(use logstash-\* index).

There's nothing to fix there, it was a problem with the template that was being used.

Providing more information may help us resolve this, like what your existing template looks like and what the current field has been mapped to.
