while i was passing to curl script i changed my mapping call, now it works with geo\_distance filters + sort Thank you david ! Exactly what we wrote in help: [http://www.elasticsearch.org/help/](http://www.elasticsearch.org/help/) Quite often, the problem is a result of you having already indexed data that differs from your current example.
