# Geoip processor not working with filebeat

I recently installed geoip plugin but I can not see my ip filed being processed in logs being indexed by filebeat.  
However when I manually try to index some document with same structure it is working fine.  
Do I need to configure something in filebeat to make it work ?

You have to configure the pipeline to be used: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/elasticsearch-output.html#\_literal\_pipeline\_literal\_8](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/elasticsearch-output.html#_literal_pipeline_literal_8)
