# GeoPath support in queries, sorting, aggregation

Elasticsearch does not seem to have support for the GeoPath shape that lucene does. we have usecases where a GeoPath may be specified in a request in the filter as well as sort/aggregation (by distance along the path) contexts.

Is this planned?
