# GET /\_cat/plugins does not show ingest-attachment plugin

I see this was covered by David Pilato in [Ingest attachment Plugin exception :](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/ingest-attachment-plugin-exception/69167)

The trick is to stop and then start the elasticsearch service.
