# Get documents for Kibana visualizations/dashboard

Hi! I created a dashboard containg a couple of visualizations (Line, Timelion) where I can check how my web app perofrms. However, when I see the problem in the dashboard, I'd like to locate it further, i.e. I need to get documents for the period of time I selected in the visualization to get additional details. However, Inspect allows only to see the result, not the whole document (-s) like in Discover. Is there a way to do that?

Starting in 7.9 most visualizations offer an "explore underlying data" action from dashboards: [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/explore-underlying-data.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/explore-underlying-data.html)

This is part of the free basic license.
