# Get POST URL for PDF reports with API

Hello!  
Hope you are doing good 😃

I have a question:  
It is possible get the URL POST for PDF reports using API?

Getting the _Copy POST URL_ with cURL or Postman and not doing it manually as always.  
Is there any way to do this?

Hello @Saliinger , at the moment this is not possible because the post URL is constructed directly from the state of the dashboard you are viewing, which may have unsaved changes for example.

I can see how something like this could be possible for saved dashboards though. However, on the newest versions of the stack if you are working on a dashboard and have a POST URL pointing to that dashboard's ID, any changes you save should be reflected on new reports. Does that cover your use case?

If that's not possible, nothing to do. Makes me sad.  
I just needed that link for download PDF in an external web without giving permissions of share content.
