# Getting cluster security error after login

getting this error whenever i try to login, can someone please help me

action [cluster:monitor/main] is unauthorized for user [kamal] with effective roles (assigned roles [monitoring,network] were not found), this action is granted by the cluster privileges [monitor,manage,all]"

When you created the user did you give it the `monitoring,network` roles?

It looks like you have assigned the `monitoring` and `network` roles to your user, but those roles don't actually exist, so the user has no permissions.
