# Getting error when searching in Kibana 5.4

Hi! I'm getting the following error message every time I run a search in the top of my Kibana window :

Discover: [action\_request\_validation\_exception] Validation Failed: 1: no requests added;

It doesn't seem to affect my ability to search, but it is extremely annoying to see.

Environment notes:  
Elastic Stack 5.4 running on Centos 7.3

- ES 5.4 with Xpack 5.4
- Kibana 5.4 with Xpack 5.4
- Logstash 5.4 with Xpack 5.4
- Filebeat 5.4
