# Getting metricbeats default dashboards to work - Windows

Hi,

I have followed the setup procedures on the elastic site. Installed the agent, configured the config file accodingly for the basic metrics and started the service, i have run .\metricbeat.exe setup --dashboards on the windows host that is hosting elastic/kibana but when i go to the dashboards i get:

There is a problem with this saved object  
A field associated with this object no longer exists in the index pattern.  
If you know what this error means, go ahead and fix it — otherwise click the delete button above.

I get this for most items in the dashboards.

Can anyone help me 🙂

Which version of Metricbeat and Kibana are you running?

Hi,

I solved this by re-creating the indexes and setting up a new index pattern.
