# Getting the max results 50000

Hi set up the index.max\_result\_window to 50,000 , but the response time has dramatically increased.

Is there any settings I need add to increase the speed as well?

Well you're asking Elasticsearch for 5 times as many results, so it needs to do a whole bunch more work to provide them.

If you want things faster you may need to increase available resources.

Yes willing to increase the available resource. can you please provide me steps or any documentation that can fix the issue.
