Hi

I am curious about this article: [https://github.com/elastic/apm/blob/main/specs/agents/tracing-instrumentation-graphql.md](https://github.com/elastic/apm/blob/main/specs/agents/tracing-instrumentation-graphql.md)

I have implemented tracing in an Apollo Server running inside NestJS but I see a big block of GraphQL and not instrumentation for the beautiful parse, analyze and execute that you can see in the diagram there

Is there something specific you need to turn on to see that? I am using Elastic/Kibana/APM Agent 8.10.4 on a Ubuntu machine

anyone from the Elastic team? I can see it was implemented for the Ruby agent but has it been implemented for the NodeJS agent as well?

> \*\*Cur…rent status:\*\* \[Implementation merged and released in the Ruby agent\](https://github.com/elastic/apm-agent-ruby/pull/721https://github.com/elastic/apm-agent-ruby/pull/721) following this doc. If there are no objections, we merge this but keep the \_work in progress\_ note until more agents have implemented.

Ah, sorry I didn't see this discuss post originally. I answered, where it was re-asked, on the PR: [https://github.com/elastic/apm/pull/208#issuecomment-1815501047](https://github.com/elastic/apm/pull/208#issuecomment-1815501047)
