# Hardware specification for FIlebeat

Hi Guys,  
Can anyone help me out to find out any specific recommended hardware specification for Filebeat.

@Debashis I think you want to know how much resources Filebeat uses on the hardware? It's a really broad question. A Filebeat agent is usually really lightweight since most of the work it's not done on edge but either on Elasticsearch or Logstash. The numbers of events or logs to deal will influence the CPU usage on the hardware but it should still be light.

Thanks @pierhugues for your response. Actually I want to know the minimum hardware requirement during installation. Everywhere I found that filebeat is very lightweight but I can't get any specific requirements

@Debashis We don't have specific hardware requirements only architecture support, depending on your deployment I think its better to tests it and see how it impact your use case.
