Hi,

Is it possible to use HDFS as storage for Elastisearch index?

I checked that HDFS can be used for backup or snapshot but I would configure ElasticSearch nodes to use directly HDFS for storing index and indexed data without using local storage

Thanks
Alessio

You might want to look at

for an explanation of how to do it, why not to do it and what alternatives there are.

Hope this helps,
