Good morning. I want to use hdfs-repository.

But it does not work well.

My define the configuration

"PUT \_snapshot/my\_hdfs\_repository
{
"type": "hdfs",
"settings": {
"uri": "hdfs://namenode:8020/",
"path": "elasticsearch/respositories/my\_hdfs\_repository",
"conf.dfs.client.read.shortcircuit": "true"
}
}"

Error -
"Caused by: org.apache.hadoop.HadoopIllegalArgumentException: The short-circuit local reads feature is enabled but dfs.domain.socket.path is not set."
This is because an error is generated.

I installed the hdfs-repository plug-in on all nodes.

and I've done all the settings on this link.([https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.6.4/bk\_hdfs-administration/content/configuring\_short\_circuit\_local\_reads\_hdfs.html](https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.6.4/bk_hdfs-administration/content/configuring_short_circuit_local_reads_hdfs.html))

Help me resolve this error. Please

Avoid that configuration option unless you actually need it. It is only there to demonstrate how one might configure the settings of the underlying HDFS client.
