Hi Team,

I am getting x509: certificate signed by unknown authority on heartbeat, although I have ssl.verification_mode: none line in the config file.

- type: http
  proxy_url: 
  ssl.verification_mode: none

  # List or urls to query
  urls: [""]

  # Configure task schedule
  schedule: '@every 10s'

  # Total test connection and data exchange timeout
  timeout: 30s
```

Hi,  
Did you find a solution to this?

I am having the same problem.

I have added ssl.verification\_mode: none but still receiving error

ERROR pipeline/output.go:100 Failed to connect to backoff(elasticsearch([https://localhost:9200](https://localhost:9200))): Get [https://localhost:9200](https://localhost:9200): x509: certificate signed by unknown authority
