# Heartbeat add fild Source IP

Would it be possible to add in the options of the monitors an output parameter for a certain IP when performing the ICMP test? It would be used in firewall environments that have 2 or more WANs, so it could be tested which link is up/down, but for that the ping test would have to go through a specific interface/IP in the test ( ping -I interface [host] ).

This information should be available in the `host.ip` field, but for your use case I'd highly recommend using separate monitor IDs/Names in each location, so each would show up separately in the UI. Maybe "Site A - From US-West", "Site A - From US-East". Since the UI doesn't have a native notion of this, it would be confusing otherwise.
