Hi,

I am trying to use heartbeat to track availability of every pod in my kubernetes environment .... is there a way to do so. The add\_kubernetes\_metada doesn't seem to work and I assumed it should be something like this that needs to be used....

thanks,

In the 6.x branch we are hoping autodiscovery merged that should handle that. We are hoping to see it released for 6.5.

See [https://github.com/elastic/beats/pull/8593](https://github.com/elastic/beats/pull/8593) and [https://github.com/elastic/beats/pull/8557](https://github.com/elastic/beats/pull/8557) . It works similarly to autodiscover for other beats.
