# Heatmap Column Size

I'm creating a heatmap but, the column sizes are too big, I don't see an option to shrink the size of the columns so that they can fit. I don't see why the chart doesn't shrink to fit the size as the data is not that much.

This appears to be the known bug reported here:
[https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/14607](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/14607)
Unfortunately it does not seem that any developer is working on fixing this.
One thing you can try is moving the legend to the top or bottom (or hiding it entirely) so that there's a little more horizontal space, but I don't know if that will help.
