# Help on exception: org.apache.lucene.store.AlreadyClosedException

Hi team - We have been seeing this error and wanted to check if anyone has  
seen this one? Looking at it, we are unable to figure out what might be  
causing this!

[ERROR][index.engine.internal] [Doctor Minerva] [index-2][0] failed to  
acquire searcher, source load\_version  
org.apache.lucene.store.AlreadyClosedException: this ReferenceManager is closed
