Hi,

I have 2 nodes with each 2 network interfaces.
One of the networks is public and the other is private.
I want to use elasticsearch only on the private network and for convenience
also on the loopback devices.

I have tried multiple ways in the yml file:

network.bind\_host: ["192.168.1.213" , "127.0.0.1"]
network.bind\_host: { "192.168.1.213" , "127.0.0.1" }
network.bind\_host: { "192.168.1.213" , "127.0.0.1"

Nothing seems to work
How can I elasticsearch listining on the private and localhost interfaces?

Regards Hans-Peter

You can not bind the same port to 2 IP.

This should work:

network.host: 192.168.1.213

See details at [http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-network.html#modules-network](http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/modules-network.html#modules-network)
