# Hide all panels, using control or filter

Hi @Arshukla,

I'm not sure which version you are using, but I don't believe Kibana has a way to hide panels using a control or filter. I have seen that a [similar question has been posed before](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-how-to-hide-panels-and-display-them-after-filter/295945), but I can't seem to find any raised issue on this on the [Kibana GitHub repo](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues).

If this is something you need you could either contribute the feature change or build a custom Kibana plugin with the functionality you need.
