# High Disk IO utilization in filebeat and logstash nodes

I see high Disk IO utilization in nodes where filebeat and logstash pods are running.

This is lowering the event collection rates in all the nodes. I do not know what are the factors that are effecting the event collection rates.

I want to understand the reasons for increased Disk IO utilization in nodes where filebeat and logstash are running. Also the recommendations for fixing the same.

Any suggestions here would be appreciated.
