# Hosted Logstash (on elastic.co) with Docker+Logspout?

hi guys,  
I'm just getting into starting to try out elasticsearch based logging - Logstash. I'm using the hosted service.

I already use a logging service (like papertrail, loggly, logdna) all of which are piped through logspout ([https://github.com/gliderlabs/logspout](https://github.com/gliderlabs/logspout)) which talks through a TLS based syslog service. There's also a key to authenticate.

I'm not able to figure out how to send logs to my hosted elasticsearch logstash instance through syslog (using logspout). Does anyone have any documentation here - what is the url, the secret key, etc etc

The hosted service does as far as I know not include Logstash, so that is something you will need to host yourself.
