# How can i get more documents about how to build a kibana glugin?

I have read the [deveoper guid](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/7.14/development.html), but it seems too concise. Is there any more documentation about the development interface? For example, the introduction of files in the directories src/core/server and src/core/public.

Indeed, some aspects of the plugin development are placed under different sections.

These aspects are supposed to be covered by  
[Kibana Plugin API | Kibana Guide [8.11] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/kibana-platform-plugin-api.html) and [External plugin development | Kibana Guide [8.11] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/external-plugin-development.html) section.

If you struggle to find an answer to your question, I'd suggest you open an [issue](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=Feature_request.md) in the Kibana repo so the team can prioritize the work.
