# How can I list existing search templates?

I have created a search template in ElasticSearch, however unfortunately I forget its name so I am trying to retrieve it.
I tried the following ways:
- GET /\_search/template .
This gives everything in ES.
- GET /.script/\_search
It is from [this post](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/list-searchtemplates/31522/2), but it is not working.
Can someone please help me? Thanks!
