Hi everybody,

I’m new to Elastic Cloud and have subscribed to the announcement channel here. However, I’m still not receiving email notifications about new versions. I haven’t found any other option to configure this in the cloud portal either. Is there a way for me to be informed by Elastic whenever a new version is available for my current cloud deployments? I don't want to check this manually on a regular basis.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Jeanne

Welcome!

Good question actually. I don't think that there is any "alert" from the cloud console. I will propose this feature request internally.

Some resources you could monitor though:

- [Download Elasticsearch | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch)
- [\<![CDATA[Elastic Blog - Elasticsearch, Kibana, and ELK Stack]]\>](https://www.elastic.co/blog/feed) (but it's not only the releases)
- [x.com](https://x.com/elastic) (but it's not only the releases)
- #Announcements and #Security Announcements might help as well although we don't always publish here when a new patch version is available.
- Monitor the Github releases page: [Releases · elastic/elasticsearch · GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/releases)

Ok, thanks! Looking forward to a deployment specific notification solution.. Until then, I'll use one of your proposed news channels. 🙂
