# How can i use ELK 8.3.3 without security enabled?

Hi  
I installed ELK 8. x on my machine, a single node.  
also enabled xpack security as without doing this I cannot add any agents.  
cert I'm using is self-signed.  
Now when I install the agent in the local machine it sends logs,  
but another agent on Nginx hosted [elk.mydomain.com](http://elk.mydomain.com) the agent is successfully installed but not sending any logs. logs stream is empty.  
can this be resolved?  
is there a way to install an agent in elk 8.x without using xpack security or something like this?

please let me know if you can guys can help with this issue.
