# How can i use X PACK?

Hi guys,  
i'm working with elastic 6.7 and kibana 6.7 open spurce without license.  
can i use X Pack with the open source basic license? or can you please guide me what should i do?

You will need to use/move to the default distribution, which comes with that functionality.

I'm using:  
kibana-6.7.1-1.x86\_64 and elasticsearch-6.7.1-1.noarch in CENTOS7.

how can i enable this feature? i'm sorry i don'n understand...

Algo what is the preceedure with upgrading from 6.7.1 to 6.8.1?  
and why do we have 6.x ver and 7.x (2) ver?

Simply [download](https://www.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch) elasticsearch from the link and you will have all the basic(free) features. Likewise other products Kibana, Beats etc.
