I got Mapping issue in kibana4. From my logstash configuration below are the two fields renamed to time\_stamp.
Before it was working fine and it type is 'String'. Now I am getting conflict message in field 'time\_stamp'. Using kibana4.

rename =\> ["timeStamp" , "time\_stamp"]
rename =\> ["RunTime" , "time\_stamp"]
date
{
locale =\> "en"
match =\> ["time\_stamp" , "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.SSS"]
timezone =\> "America/Chicago"
target =\> "time\_stamp"

```
}
```

How can i validate time\_stamp is really indexed or not? Plz help.

I think you might mean why does it show as different mapping types?
Are you setting the field mappings in ES via a template, or using dynamic mappings?
