# How can you detect the Query steam has ended? Can plugin provide "EOF" as tag to signal End of SQL data?

I have raised the same question at github, but looks like there is no interest.

The problem is about input plugin create the EVENT steam, but did not provide a way for the later filter or output to determine the work is done.  
Anyone has any advise?
