# How create histogram with fixed bucket

I try to create histogram by fixed minimum interval=5 when histogram generate It auto generate bucket to 400 or something was not interval then i fixed.

Kibana picks up an interval different than what was provided when the number of buckets increase beyond a limit. The help text next to the "Minimum Interval" field on the UI (in your screenshot) has more info.
