# How do I collect the highest disk active time in Resource Monitor?

I want to collect the highest disk active time via Metricbeat.

I tried to check the data by adding the `PhysicalDisk(_Total)% Disk Time` counter in the Performance Monitor Properties.

However, when I display the values in Kibana, the expected data values are not displayed.  
I am not sure if the `windows.perfmon.disk.physicaldisk.disk_time` field we are currently using is the correct data for collecting the highest active time.

In order to collect the highest active time of the disk, data can be collected through which field,  
How should I interpret the displayed value?

I would appreciate if you can tell me how.
