So am trying to have a pipeline with Jenkins job polling git for any code changes then to build the code create image and placing it into artifactory and deploying it to Kubernetes pods via Spinnaker.
My question is how can i fetch the Pod logs using filebeat running it as a container.

Hi @Vivek_Samaga,

We just published a blog post on how to use filebeat to ship container logs on Kubernetes:, I think you may find it useful: [https://www.elastic.co/blog/shipping-kubernetes-logs-to-elasticsearch-with-filebeat](https://www.elastic.co/blog/shipping-kubernetes-logs-to-elasticsearch-with-filebeat)

Best regards

Yes, Filebeat 6.0 should be able to ship logs to ES 5.X
