Hello,

This question is a bit open ended without a definition of load (ingest? search?), other parameters like architecture, mappings etc. and understanding of what you want to achieve by benchmarking.

Please take a look at the [Using Rally to Get Your Elasticsearch Size Right webinar](https://www.elastic.co/webinars/using-rally-to-get-your-elasticsearch-cluster-size-right) and the [Benchmarking Elasticsearch with Rally](https://youtu.be/HriBY2zoChw) presentation linked in the [docs page](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/faq.html#what-does-latency-and-service-time-mean-and-how-do-they-related-to-the-took-field-that-elasticsearch-returns) to get you started.
