# How does kibana regenerate the target file

I want to modify one of kibana's index.js files, but running the modification does not take effect. Looking at the browser, I find that the browser is loading the target file. How to recompile the index.js file to generate a new target file

Nope, sorry. I can't think of any way that would be worth the time, vs just building the project that you need from source.
