# How Exclude option in kibana tag cloud works?

Hi there,  
I have a field called "Ticket Text" that has fielddata enabled, the field contains paragraphs of text, when I use Exclude option to exclude words like : "at","in", "the"  
does it exclude only the word or the whole document that contains the word?

for example if these are my fields:

"lion is in the jungle"

"rain and building"

and my tag cloud looks like this:  
ali,is,the,lion ...

when I exclude "the", does it completely exclude my first document or only this word?
