# How many applications apm server can handle?

**Kibana version** : 7.4.2

**Elasticsearch version** :7.4.2

**APM Server version** : 7.6.2

**APM Agent language and version** : python 3.7 and flask framework

I create a docker apm-server to use with kubernets, I would like to know how many applications apm-server can handle without any problem.

That's hard to say in a generalized way. Apps vary wildly in their size and number of transactions.

> If the APM Server cannot process data quickly enough, you will see request timeouts.
