I have a question about how to add the ability to create short links, which role is responsible for this (I have a basic license)?

Hi @PeLbmaN!

The permission to create short links is tied to the permission to create Kibana-saved object documents in Elasticsearch. Therefore, read-only users do not have access to create short links.

Here is a [related forum post](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/shorten-url-permissions/255241) on this subject. Our documentation on [creating short links](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/short-urls-api-create.html) may also be helpful too.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or follow up here.

Best,

Jess
