# How to add text with values to a dashboard?

I would like to have in my dashboard a widget that says

> There are currently 200 people in 17 locations

The `200` and `17` would actually be numbers calculated from queries (number of records + filters).

Is this possible?

The closest one I found are Metrics, but they are not editable (the format is fixed)

You could use TSVB markdown for creating something like that. For example

Here I am using the count aggregation and I am giving the label total

and if I go to the Markdown tab I can do something like this
