# How to apply elastic certified engineer badge

How to apply elastic certified user badge on this discussion forum profile.

We do that "automatically" when possible (ie when you used the same email for discuss and certification) but we do that manually for now.  
Did you pass the certification? Could you DM me the email you used for the certification process?
