# How to calculate how much data a single data node in an elasticsearch cluster can store?

I now want to install an elasticsearch cluster. How to evaluate the cluster size and resources? How to calculate how much data a single data node in an elasticsearch cluster can store? How to determine the ratio of memory to disk?

This depends a lot on the use case and the load the cluster will be under, so I suspect you will need to provide more details in order to get a useful answer.
