# How to change /app/kibana in kibana URL to different name

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the 'kibana' text in Kibana URL to different name? We are using Kibana 5.4.0 version.

Hi @TrungNguyen3010,

these parts of the URLs can not be changed easily, because they are determined by the internal module structure of Kibana. But you could try to rewrite the path by running Kibana behind a reverse proxy as described in this thread: [Kibana 5 behind reverse proxy](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/kibana-5-behind-reverse-proxy/75573).
