# How to change default mapping using windows platform

I am unable to install PUT api on [windows.It](http://windows.It) is giving me some error like file not found and i don't know the other way to do the same.  
Pls suggest.

Take a look at the Sense tool. It gives you auto-complete for query syntax etc [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/sense/current/installing.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/sense/current/installing.html)
