# How to configure sendgrid api in elasticsearch.yml

Can any one please help me? Want to configure sendgrid api in Elasticsearch.yml to send and alert notification.

Hey,

what makes you think that there is sendgrid support within Elasticsearch? Can you share the documentation you found that, just to be sure, we are not providing wrong docs somewhere. While the alerting/watcher functionality allows to send mails, this is sorely based on SMTP, and not a HTTP API like Sendgrid.

Hope that helps as a start, if not please add some more context.

I have sendgrid account details and api with me.

Expectation: Want send emails of alerting/watcher functionality.
