# How to Control the Ingestion of data using logstash to elasticsearch

Hi

I am facing some issues due to the high rate of EPS on the data node. How can I control the ingestion of data (based on the EPS) using the Logstash output  
Any settings will help to reduse the indexing EPS ratio
