I'm trying to create a query to find a specific that has a period in it (i.e. [server.server.com](http://server.server.com)) but kibana will not match the period in the name. Is there a way to make this work. When i search hostname:server.sever.com it will find everywhere that server is and give this back as a result.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

Isn't that what you want though?
