# How to create an index-pattern for a specific Space using the API?

Hi,

Is it possible to use the [Saved Objects API](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/6.6/saved-objects-api.html) to create a new index-pattern for a specific Space?

It's not explained in the above documentation and i couldn't make it work after trying various syntax.

Kibana version 6.5.4

hi @tomeri

You can prepend the Space name in the URL

so instead of `http://localhost:5601/api/saved_objects` it would be `http://localhost:5601/s/foo/api/saved_objects`
