# How to create react plugin for kibana

I used [https://github.com/elastic/template-kibana-plugin/](https://github.com/elastic/template-kibana-plugin/) for building plugin but uses angular for plugin development. There is a way to build plugin using react ?  
Some guides and info would be useful.

Hi Dmitro,

what kind of plugin do you want to build? A custom application, a visualization? I could point you to the appropriate examples. Also the plugin template is now part of the [kibana sources](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/tree/master/packages/kbn-plugin-generator) so better have a look at these - and there is also react support in that already.
